FAQ
Questions, answered.
What M3 teams ask before they start: licensing, ownership, how much you can build, and what happens to it all if you walk away.
Do I need to be a developer?
No. If you can describe what you want, you can build it.
Do the apps need extra licensing?
No. What LoupeCode builds is a standard M3 H5 app. You use LoupeCode to build it; anyone in M3 can run it, in any of your environments.
Who owns what LoupeCode builds?
You do. It is readable source code, in your M3, and you can sync it to your own git repository whenever you like.
What happens if we stop paying?
Everything you already built keeps running. It is a standard H5 app in your environment, so it does not depend on us being there. You only lose the ability to build something new.
How is this different from generic AI builders?
Generic tools don’t know M3. LoupeCode does. Your transactions, your sign-in, your H5. What it builds simply runs.
We have been shown an AI app builder that promises no code, just conversation. How is LoupeCode different?
The builder is the part you see. Under it, the connections to your M3 are built by hand, usually by a consultant and usually by the day, before the conversation can start. LoupeCode reads your M3 directly, so there is no integration to build first, and what it builds runs inside M3 on your own sign-in rather than on their platform.
Does it work with my own M3?
Yes. It builds against the environments you’ve connected, with your data. Never a sandbox.
What languages can the apps speak?
Any number of them. Add languages with a click, and each user automatically gets the language they have configured in M3.
Can it build H5 scripts and XtendM3 extensions?
Yes. H5 apps, H5 scripts, and XtendM3 transactions, tables, and triggers. All from a sentence.
Do we need to buy Loupe as well?
No. LoupeCode runs inside Loupe, and everything you need to use it is included. There is no second subscription to buy.
I already use Loupe. How do I get LoupeCode?
Ask us to switch it on. There’s nothing new to install and no new sign-in.
How do I get started?
Request access or book a demo. Bring an environment and we’ll build something together.
Run it in your environment.
Bring an environment. We'll show you what one sentence can build. Already on Loupe? Just ask and we'll switch it on.
